Oops forgot to update

I forgot to update, guys, sorry! In my defense I was playing Dragon Age: Origins and...you all know how much I love that game. I know news about Dragon Age 2 has come out and...I'm less than happy about it. They're removing everything that made Dragon Age: Origins charming to make it more streamlined- like Mass Effect. The Mass Effect games are fine and all but, come on, DA:O was supposed to be a love letter to PC gamers who play RPGs. Sigh. I could go one for a long time about all the stuff that upsets me about it but I'll leave it at that.

So, art! I'm working on several RPs with friends, and I'm pretty excited. Reggie, get on AIM so we can discuss ours.

An update on the work in progress

Just a quick update on my WIP. I have more art to show, but its not ready! So, soon there'll be an update flood.

Ceviche

My sister and I made ceviche today! Its really good. Its a quick and easy recipe so I'll just write it down for anyone interested!

Ingredients-
1/2 red onion
a fuckton of limes
a serrano chile
some cilantro (coriander)
2 tomatos
and some imitation crab meat but tilapia fish fillets work well
optional- 1 avocado
saltines or tostada tortillas

Cut up the onion into tiny, tiny pieces and put them in a bowl. Do the same for the cilantro. With the tomatoes cut along side the shape of the tomato so you down cut the middle part. You don't want the juice innards, just the drier skin and inner membrane. Cut it up into small pieces and put in the bowl. With the serrano chile cut off the ends, cut down the middle and pick out the vein and seeds. Those are super spicy. Cut these up into little pieces and put in the bowl. Cut up the avocado and do the same.

We used imitation crab meat and we washed it and put in in a glass pan. And we squeezed out a cup of lime juice and let it cook at 350degrees in the oven for 30min. We took it out, put it in the bowl with theo ther junk, put some salt on it, mixed it. and thats done!

Get the tostada, put some mayo on it to hold on the topping and take the ceviche you made and put it on it. And EAT! So good! Any questions and I'll help you out.

Heat waves can suck my dick

In case you don't pay attention to the news there's been one hell of a heat wave pounding into part of the midwest and north eastern states.

But what's killing me isn't the heat. Its the suffocating humidity. Seriously, I don't know how people in tropical places can do it. The humidity is just terrible.

Other than that, my day has been uneventful. My insomnia has come back full force. Only sleeping 5-6 hours a night and not being able to nap. Sigh. Oh well.

Um, right art for the day is a WIP. I've been trying to cg this drawing since forever because I want to make it look like a comic book cover. I could never ink it decently.

West to the beach on Sunday. Got a badass tan. It was badass. Also got a sunburn. Less badass.

You know, for how fun Jafax was I completely avoided talking about it here, huh?

Well, not much to say. I met up with Eike. Had fun. It was hot and humid. Um, first day there was a lot of drama right before my sister, brother and I were gonna go off to the con. Like, the drama was big enough it almost ruined my plans and definitely ruined my mood for a while. It was intense. Anyway, I get to jafax, and we go around artist alley (met up with  Balled Kalilee ) and then down to the vendors. Then came back up, met Eike, went back down to the vendors. Bought the only copy of Black Lagoon in the entire con (my sister and I split the cost). So worth it, I love this show. I should draw fanart.

Anyway, my sister had to go to pick up Pucho from the groomers so she left with Kevin and told me to find my own ride home. Thankfully M-dawg hooked me up.

Uh, I bought a Kirby plushie. I spent some time drawing with Eike. Uh, but then it got late and so I went home. Though my ride couldn't drop me off at home, so she dropped me off at the bus central station and my sister picked me up.

I then spend the night cleaning and killed the steam vacuum. I fell into a heavy fatigue coma. Man, I was tired.

Next day I get up, get a text from a friend that she's already at the con. Got ready. Drove off to the con. Met up with Eike again. Had fun again. Her mom treated my brother and I to lunch <3! It was awesome. We didn't spend as much time at the con this day, the vendors were lame and I was getting tired.

Eike came over to my house and my mom took us to a birthday party. It was fun. We had cake and good nomnoms. We got back home and Eike and my brother played a ton of games while I drew her a picture. :D having her and her mom over was so fun!

So yes, that's a basic rundown.
